Understanding Theology, Volume Two is unavailable, but you can change that!

The much anticipated second volume from the Westminster School of Theology is full of the probing theology that made the first volume so popular. In these collected notes from Kendall’s lectures to his students at Westminster you will find analysis of biblical inerrancy, the attributes of God, the Holy Spirit, predestination vs. free will, gender roles, baptism, experiencing God, faith and works,...

(1) Process theology is a kind of pantheism (all is God) or, as some prefer, panentheism (all is in God). (2) Nature determines God’s will; man is at the centre of nature. (3) What God was doing in a previous day may be contradicted by what he is doing today—since it is God’s nature to change. (4) The architects of process theology never for a moment saw themselves as evangelical; a new breed of men have wanted to show that it is essentially biblical given some corrections and embellishments.
